We are following advice from NHS England that all patients must be triaged first before they can be seen. We are aware this has caused an increase in our phone traffic, we ask patients to be patient with us during this very busy time, or use the E-consult or Patient Access Service if they have access to the internet.
Please think before you shout or abuse our staff, we are trying our best and do not tolerate abuse of any kind.

FLU - We are vaccinating patients on an appointment only basis for patients who are in an at risk category, please contact the Practice to check the details. Please note that people in the 50-64-year old age group will not be vaccinated until November and December, providing there is sufficient vaccine and no appointments will be offered for this age group until then. This is to ensure that those who are most at risk are vaccinated first. If you are 50-64 and you are in one of the other groups which are eligible for the flu vaccination, for example, you have a health condition which puts you at risk from the flu, you will be invited earlier.

Integrated Digital Care Record

Islington Clinical commissioning (CCG) and Islington council have been asking local residents what they want from local health services, and have used their views to develop CareMyWay.

This is a new electronic health and social care record that will help to improve the quality of care for residents.

CareMyWay will bring all your health and social care information together in one up-to-date record. This means that when you visit different health or social care services you won't have to repeat your story each time. This also means that professionals involved in your care will be able to make better decisions because they will be able to see the relevant information in one place.

CareMyWay is a new Integrated Digital Care Record which means that for the first time, all of your health and social care data will be stored in one place. This will mean a faster, better service for you.

CareMyWay will be piloted in a selected number of GP surgeries and health and social care providers in October 2016, with a full launch across Islington scheduled for November 2016.
