  • Covid-19: Fit note/ Sick note guidance and template       RMCA

    We know that with measures such as social distancing and self isolation being put in place there are many more patients demanding fit notes/ Med3s. The current Government guidance for employers and businesses on coronavirus (covid-19) reiterates that medical evidence is not required for the first 7 days of sickness. It adds that after 7 days, employers may use their discretion around the need for medical evidence if an employee is staying at home.

Our receptionists are here to help you. They may ask you for further details when you telephone or attend the surgery. This is so that we can assist you as quickly and effectively as possible.
